ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Night Shift) in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekends and holidays are required. No call. Travelers may be required to float to like or lower acuities as needed.
Job Description
This position is for a 42-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit that cares for patients with various conditions including cardiac issues, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal problems, general surgery, and orthopedics. The healthcare team includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs/US, and unit secretaries. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:6 and may care for IMCU patients based on census.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit.
- Administer medications, including but not limited to insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips.
- Monitor and manage patient vitals and acuity levels.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
- Experience with floating to like and lower acuities.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current NC or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
- Certifications in CPI, ACLS, and BLS are required.
- Meditech experience is preferred.
