Days, 8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide skilled and medically necessary rehabilitative interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders, operating under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. This role involves administering various treatment procedures and assessing patient progress while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team and documenting all care in the electronic documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Administer treatment interventions including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document all required information in the electronic system and maintain patient records according to company policies.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Participate in required meetings and training sessions to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and support students as guided by the Physical Therapist.

Required Experience

• 1+ years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Rehabilitation settings.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license at the time of submission.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
