Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:00 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide quality care to a diverse patient population, focusing primarily on geriatric and adult patients. The nurse will utilize the MEDITECH electronic health record system for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care in a 21-bed unit, maintaining a patient ratio of 4:1.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
Required Experience
Applicants must have a valid RN license and hold BLS & ACLS certifications. A minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN license in Texas.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
