Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This role involves managing patient care efficiently and effectively, utilizing the Meditech EHR system, and participating in the best practices associated with a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Accredited facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech EHR system.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.

Required Experience

1 year of experience in the Emergency Department is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
