Job Description
The Emergency Department in Rockport consists of 6 rooms, including 4 vertical beds, and is operated by a dedicated team of 10 full-time and 4 PRN staff members. This unit supports a patient ratio of 3 to 4 patients per nurse and is equipped with essential medical technology including vital sign machines, BIPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, orthopedic glass, and AEDs, utilizing the Meditech EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Perform IV blood draws and EKGs.
- Manage Foley catheters and orthopedic splints.
- Provide wound care to patients.
Required Experience
Candidates must have experience in a Fast-Track Emergency Department setting. The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
