This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Tuesday through Saturday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team at HCA Houston West Inpatient Rehabilitation, a robust unit with 20 beds and a supportive environment. As an Occupational Therapist, you will focus on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from various conditions. You will work with a team of 8 full-time therapists and use advanced equipment to facilitate patient recovery through therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized therapeutic assessments and treatment plans.
Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts and standard PT/OT tools to assist with therapy sessions.
Document patient progress and respond to changes in their conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

Must have inpatient rehabilitation experience.
Neuro rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Valid State of Texas Occupational Therapy license is required.
CPR/BLS certification is required.
