The schedule consists of night shifts, specifically 3 shifts of 12 hours each from 18:30 to 07:00. Weekend shifts are required.

Job Description

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in a critical care and emergency department setting. This role includes airway management, bronchoscopy assisting, and ventilator management. You will also be involved in BiPAP and CPAP management, ABG sampling, and interpretation, as well as implementing all modalities of respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients with various conditions, focusing on adult critical care.
• Manage and troubleshoot ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP equipment.
• Assist with bronchoscopies and perform airway management.
• Conduct ABG sampling and interpret results to guide patient care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in critical care and emergency settings.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current NBRC RRT credentials.
• Licensed to practice in Ohio.
• BLS certification required; NRP certification required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
