This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
4×10 hour shifts, 0700 - 1700. Call requirements include 7-10 calls per month, and weekends/holidays are required every other week.
Job Description
This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room procedures. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. You will play a crucial role in collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Assist with surgical procedures and collaborate with the surgical team.
- Conduct preoperative assessments and postoperative evaluations.
- Maintain sterile environment and compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor and document patient vitals and surgical progress.
Required Experience
Must have current RN licensing and experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
