Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will work within an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit focusing on providing comprehensive evaluations and tailored treatment plans for patients, primarily with neurological and orthopedic conditions. The unit features modern equipment including Vector Systems, Lite Gait Systems, BITS, and VR. Documenting all interventions will be done using Meditech EMR.

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to assist patients in achieving optimal recovery.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Use advanced rehabilitation equipment and technology to enhance patient care.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience

Minimum 6 months of current experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience in inpatient rehabilitation and/or acute care settings preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Colorado.
NBCOT Certification.
Current BLS certification.
