ARMStaffing is looking for a Surgical Technologist, Operating Room in Zanesville, Ohio.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Candidates will work between 36-40 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts. Start and end times are negotiable. Approximately every fifth weekend will be a call weekend, requiring 1-2 calls per week, with all call duties requiring a 30-minute response time.

Job Description

This role requires a highly skilled Surgical Technologist with a wide range of experience in orthopedic, neuro, and vascular surgeries. The candidate must possess excellent critical thinking skills and have thorough knowledge of central processing and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by ensuring a sterile environment and having the necessary instruments ready.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field.
• Handle surgical instruments and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to promote patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in education and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Required Experience

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited surgical technology program with extensive experience in multiple surgical specialties, particularly orthopedic, neuro, and vascular.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• CST certification preferred but not required.
