Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room setting. This role involves working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimize surgical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist with the administration of anesthesia as directed.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff for effective surgical interventions.
- Document nursing care and patient responses accurately.
Required Experience
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
- Previous experience in an Operating Room or surgical setting preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
