ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Home Health and Hospice (Day Shift) in Newport, Vermont.

Newport, VT
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with flexibility based on patient needs. Scheduled for 1 weekend a month (followed by 2 days off: 1 day prior to Saturday and 1 day after Sunday). Some call may be scheduled, but only on an emergency basis.
Job Description
This position involves providing nursing care in a home health and hospice setting. The role requires travel for patient visits, effective time management, and adaptability to changing schedules. Documenting patient care using an EMR system (HealthWyse) is also required.
Responsibilities
- Perform home visits to assess, plan, and provide patient care.
- Complete OASIS assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage and coordinate care for patients receiving home health and hospice services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Adjust care plans based on patient needs and changes in condition.
Required Experience
- OASIS experience is a must.
- Home health and hospice experience required.
- Experience managing a flexible schedule and traveling for patient visits.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- BLS certification required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
