Schedule/Shift

Rotational 12-hour shifts, including days and nights (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and occasional 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. This role requires administering therapeutic respiratory care procedures, performing diagnostic respiratory procedures, and providing instruction to patients and healthcare team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
• Complete required documentation for department effectiveness including charting, billing, and patient/family education.
• Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures in accordance with hospital and department policies.
• Provide instruction to patients and other healthcare team members as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Required Experience

Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Care License via the Board of Medicine or Board of Osteopathic Medicine with CRT or RRT certification is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Pennsylvania Respiratory Care License
• CRT or RRT certification
