This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Holiday Expectations: MUST work 2 major Holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will play a critical role in providing care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This position involves working closely with the healthcare team to monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and assist in various cath lab procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients in the cardiac cath lab.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and watch for any changes during procedures.
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures and other related interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the cath lab.
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in the medical record.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac specialty.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
