Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in urgent need of medical attention. Your role will involve assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage patients based on their medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• PALS or ACLS certification is preferred.
