Job Description
The CVOR Tech, Certified Surgical Technician position involves providing support in the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures. You will assist the surgical team by preparing equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterility during surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the environment of care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist with the positioning of patients and transfer them safely to the operating table.
- Ensure proper surgical instruments and sterile supplies are available.
- Support the surgical team during procedures by anticipating their needs.
- Monitor sterile field and patient safety throughout surgical procedures.
Required Experience
Experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
Certified Surgical Technician certification required.
