Job Description
The Emergency Department at HCA West is a fast-paced environment with a total of 28 beds and a dedicated team of 19 staff members, including RNs, a Nurse Coordinator, Triage, Medic, and Unit Secretary. The ideal candidate will be experienced in emergency response and patient care, utilizing equipment such as ventilators and Baxter IV Pumps while entering data into the Meditech Expanse EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care in a busy Emergency Department setting.
- Perform critical procedures such as intubation and central line placement.
- Collaborate as part of a cohesive healthcare team.
- Demonstrate effective communication and emergency response skills.
Required Experience
Must have strong patient experience and emergency response experience.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support or ENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course
