Schedule/Shift

Night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM with a requirement of 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks; no on-call duties.

Job Description

The Emergency Department at Medical City McKinney is seeking a motivated and high-energy Registered Nurse to join our team. This 37-bed unit includes a Level 2 Trauma designation and requires nurses to provide high-caliber patient experience in a fast-paced environment, using the MediTech EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize GE Monitors and MediTech for patient assessments and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care.
• Perform typical emergency department procedures as needed.

Required Experience

• Experience in Emergency Nursing.
• Meditech experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
