Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide care in an Acute Care setting, focusing on patients with a variety of conditions including neuro spine, brain, ortho, trauma, cardiac, cardiothoracic, and general medical diagnoses. The role includes working in a Magnet Facility with a robust interdisciplinary team, providing treatments and assessments for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for a diverse caseload.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Manage assistive devices and adaptive equipment for patient mobility.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Provide patient education and family support.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in an Acute Care setting preferred. Candidates with at least 5 years of Acute Care experience will also be considered.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• Current Physical Therapist License required.
• Wound Care Certification (WCC) preferred.
