Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals, as well as physician direction. This role encompasses the delegation and direction of all therapy services while ensuring functional treatment programs for an effective return to community activities. The therapist will serve as an educator for patients, families, coworkers, and students.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough evaluations and utilize clinical reasoning to develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Document care in a clear, concise, and timely manner in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Conduct therapy under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in the student program as assigned, providing supervision and guidance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and apply new knowledge to improve quality of services.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
