ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, MedSurg/Tele Float Pool (Night Shift) in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour shifts, with the schedule being nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Every other weekend and holidays are required.

Job Description

The MedSurg/Tele Float Pool Registered Nurse will provide care for patients across various units, primarily floating between 6N, 7N, and other surgical and critical care units. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips, as well as providing care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, pneumonia, and more.

Responsibilities

• Float to designated units as assigned, primarily basic telemetry patients within scope of practice.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips.
• Administer medications and titrate drips as needed (specific drips will not need titration).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Document patient care in the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience

• All travelers must have passed a cardiac rhythm examination.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current and unexpired RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
