3x12 or 4x12 shifts; Night Shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM; every other weekend required.

Job Description

This role is part of a Critical Care Float Pool, where you will provide care in both Critical Care and Intermediate Care settings. You will be working in a 13-bed Critical Care unit and a 21-bed Intermediate Care unit, primarily managing critically ill adult patients with conditions such as sepsis, stroke, DKA, and multisystem organ dysfunction. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and will possess strong critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients independently with minimal orientation.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and perform 12-lead EKGs.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive drips, sedations, insulin, and heparin infusions.
• Perform arterial and central line management and blood product administration.
• Conduct ABG analysis and airway management including suctioning.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.

Required Experience

• 2 years of recent Adult ICU experience required.
• Strong critical care experience is necessary including cardiac rhythm interpretation and Code/Rapid Response.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania RN license upon submittal; ASN is accepted.
