This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule is 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required for Friday and Saturday nights.

Job Description

This position is within the Med-Surg/Telemetry Float Pool at Jefferson Lansdale Hospital. The RN will support the Med-Surg/Telemetry units MS3 and MS4, providing care to adults and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a med-surg/telemetry setting.
• Manage patient care involving feeding tubes, pre/post hemodialysis, and central/peripheral/PICC line management.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV starts, adhere to heparin protocols, and administer oxygen therapy.
• Maintain standards of isolation precautions and participate in interdisciplinary care.

Required Experience

• 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience is required.
• Comfort with Med-Surg/Telemetry care including relevant procedures and protocols.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• Current PA RN license is required upon submission; ASN is accepted.
