Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The RN will manage a variety of emergency conditions and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive patient management and support throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5 during day shifts and 1:6 during night shifts.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and provide treatment based on the patient's needs.
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure and provide care for trauma patients.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for accurate documentation and efficient patient management.
• Participate in unit activities, including compliance with infection control and isolation precautions.

Required Experience

• 1.5 to 2 years of experience in a similar role required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are required.
