Travel RN – Neuroscience & Epilepsy

Location: Dallas, TX
Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM
Shift Type: Night Shift
Duration: 13 Weeks

Staffing

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have:

  • BLS certification

  • Strong time-management skills

  • Ability to provide safe, organized care in an acute-care environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS certification

Patient Population / Clinical Experience

The unit commonly cares for patients with:

  • Neurological conditions

  • TIA

  • Stroke

  • Epilepsy

  • Ictal activity requiring specialized monitoring

Floating

Travel RNs may float to various acute-care areas, including:

  • Medical-Surgical

  • General Surgery

  • Renal Transplant

  • Telemetry

  • Neurology

  • Orthopedics

Weekends

  • 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be:

  • Organized and efficient

  • Strong in time management

  • Comfortable caring for neurological patients

  • Adaptable to floating across acute-care specialties

  • Collaborative and patient-focused
