• Hospital Beds: 430

• Respiratory Therapy Staff: 25

• Patient Workload: Approximately 20–25 treatments per round on a typical floor assignment

• 3–4 RRTs

Night Shift

• 3 RRTs

Equipment

• Oxygen therapy equipment

• BiPAP / CPAP

• Mechanical ventilators

• Nebulizers

• Blood gas machines

Hiring Profile

Must-Have Experience

• Previous ICU experience

• Strong respiratory assessment and critical-care skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Typical Procedures & Responsibilities

• Nebulizer treatments

• BiPAP / CPAP management

• Ventilator management

• Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) collection/analysis

• Respiratory assessment and treatment

• Oxygen therapy

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Current RRT credential
• Current Virginia State License
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• NRP
• NBRC
• PALS

Dress Code

• Navy Blue scrubs

• Follow facility hygiene and professional dress requirements

Weekends & Call

• Rotating weekends

• Call preferred: One 24-hour call shift approximately every 5–6 weeks
