Title: Anesthesia Tech

Schedule: Day Shift 5*8s 40hours/week

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

• Call/Weekend/Holiday: Required per unit needs

• Contract: 1 year ONLY

• Experience: 2 years as an Anesthesia Tech

• Certification: BLS required

• Preferred: Anesthesia Tech certification; 2- or 4-year college education with related technical training

• Responsibilities:

  • Prepare anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications, and supplies.

  • Assist anesthesiologists/CRNAs with intubations and central line placement.

  • Operate cell-saver machines and support advanced surgical cases, including cardiac, transplant, vascular, thoracic, and trauma.

  • Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on anesthesia equipment.

  • Train staff, set up operating rooms, and support procedures outside the OR.

  • Provide on-call coverage and shift supervisor backup.
