Schedule: Floating Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

• Hours: 36 or 48 hrs/week

• Shift: D/E/N rotating

• Schedule: Weekends, holidays, and on-call per unit needs

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac OR experience

• Required Skills: Must be able to scrub and circulate

• Certification: AHA BLS required

• Qualification: NBSTSA certification OR qualifying prior surgical technologist experience in a healthcare facility

• Patient Population/Procedures: CABG, TAVI, heart failure procedures, VADs, ECMO, artificial heart, and heart transplants

• Responsibilities: Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies; assist the surgical team from the scrub position; maintain sterile technique; handle sharps safely; perform surgical counts; manage instruments properly; and facilitate room turnover.
