Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support an endocrinology practice in Pottstown, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative skills, excellent patient communication abilities, and experience working in a healthcare setting. Previous endocrinology experience and familiarity with the Epic EMR system are preferred.

Important: This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity. Candidates must be interested in transitioning to a permanent staff position.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider consultations and examinations.

• Assist the endocrinologist with daily clinical and patient care activities.

• Handle medication prior authorizations and coordinate related documentation.

• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, care instructions, and clinical needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system.

• Support the smooth daily operations of the endocrinology practice.

• Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

• Complete all required training and onboarding activities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of CMA experience.

• Must be willing to transition to a permanent staff position.

• Strong patient communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work the required Monday–Friday schedule.

• Willingness to complete all pre-employment compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous endocrinology experience.

• Experience using the Epic EMR system.

• Familiarity with medication prior authorizations and outpatient clinical workflows.

Training Requirements

• Five-hour EMR training session on a Friday before the start date.

• Completion of a 15-minute HIPAA training module.

Submission Requirements

• Submit the candidate's resume and completed submission cover form together in one document.

• Include the offered pay rate on the submission cover page.

• List all requested time off (RTO) on the submission cover form.

• Highlight Epic EMR experience, if applicable.

• Include the candidate's Right to Represent (RTR) in the submission packet.

Compliance and Onboarding

• Compliance documentation must be completed by the Wednesday before the start date.

• Medical and drug screenings must be initiated within 72 hours of offer acceptance.

• The Certificate of Acceptance (COA) must be uploaded within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

• Ensure the candidate's profile contains accurate information in the designated onboarding system.

• Approved RTO must be added to the candidate's profile.
