Title: Radiation Therapist
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1425 Portland Ave Rochester, NY 14621
Schedule: Day Shift 5*8s 40 weeks

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (8-hour shifts, based on department needs).

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week.

• Saturday: Not required.

• Floating: Yes, to other Radiation Oncology locations.

• Local Candidates: Accepted if residing more than 75 miles away; lower local rate applies.

• Required Experience: Radiation Therapy experience.

• Required Certifications: ARRT (T), BLS, active NYS Radiologic Technologist Therapy License.

• Preferred Equipment Experience: Ethos or Varian machines.

• Required EMR: EPIC.

• Required Skills: External Beam Therapy, IMRT, tumor localization, custom molds/shields, block cutting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, dose calculations, portal imaging, wedges, compensation filters, radiation safety, and isolation precautions.

• Additional Requirements: Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication, flexibility, adaptability, dependability, and teamwork skills.
