Title: Rad Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Day Shift 5*8s 40 weeks

• Schedule: 5x8-hour Days

• On-Call: 5–7 call shifts per 7-week schedule, including 2–4 weekend call shifts.

• Additional Requirements: On-call, callback, and holidays as per unit needs.

• Contract: 6-month contractors accepted.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required.

• License: Active NYS License or must obtain prior to start.

• Certifications: ARRT and AHA BLS required.

• Preferred: VIR Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Radiologists during interventional procedures and prepare patients for examinations.

• Operate IR/radiology equipment and ensure diagnostic-quality imaging.

• Demonstrate proper patient positioning and exposure techniques.

• Maintain competency in HIS, RIS, and PACS systems.

• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and medication security.

• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain efficient workflow.

• Support room turnover and assist department staff as needed.

• Provide compassionate care and effective communication with patients of all age groups.
