FTE 1 to cover 4 units: Med Surg, DOC, Oncology, and Post- Partum.
FTE 2 to cover 3 units: Cardiovascular ICU and 2 Med Surg units.
Number of Beds: FTE 1 = 96 beds. FTE 2= 87 beds.
Number of Staff: 2 FTE s total
Type of Staff: Full Time 40-50 hrs/wk.
o Day Shift: Mon-Friday
o Night Shift: No.
Patient Ratios (Estimated): Caseload 10-15 patients per day per FTE
Type of Equipment: EMR.
Documentation System: Meditech & Healthtouch.
Call Requirements: none
Typical Hiring Profile
Must have:
CDR Licensure (Commission on Dietetic Registration)
Dietician Certification
FL Licensure
List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
Unit Screening, Nutrition Assessment, Intervention, Monitoring, and ordering/updating diets, tube feed, parenteral nutrition, and oral nutrition supplement orders.
Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)
Knowledge of Meditech EMR system preferred.
