Title: Registered Nurse - ER
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 2 Coulter Rd Clifton Springs, NY 14432
Schedule: Night Shift 4*12s 48hours/week

License: Active NY RN license in hand – REQUIRED.

Shift: 4x12 Nights, 1900–0700.

Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW).

Experience: Minimum 1 year.

First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
-
Patient Ratio: 1:5.
-
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 75 miles.

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.

EMR: EPIC experience required.

Unit: 11-bed Medical ED with a separate CPEP (Psychiatric Emergency) unit.

CPEP Details:
-
Evaluation area accommodates up to 6 patients.
-
Extended Observation area accommodates up to 2 patients.
-
Staffed by an RN, PCT, and CPEP Behavioral Health team whenever patients are present.
-
Patients are triaged and medically cleared before entering CPEP.
-
May require labs/EKG while in CPEP.

Nurses typically cover 6-hour blocks on days/mids; night shifts may cover 12 hours.

Security is posted in the ED.

Additional Certifications Listed: CPI*, TNCC*, TRUST, CPIM*.
