Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Rotating Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

• Unit: 492

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating D/E/N shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights).

• Hours: 36 HPW or 48 HPW.

• Shift Requirements: Holidays, weekends, on-call, and callback as per unit needs.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience.

• Required Certification: AHA BLS.

• Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Psychology or Sociology – REQUIRED.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to inpatient psychiatric patients.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Support social and psychiatric rehabilitation activities as directed by the RN.

• Communicate effectively with patients and ensure access to required services.

• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the RN.

• Participate in patient rounds and group therapy as needed.

Recruiter Notes:

• Recent psychiatric/inpatient experience required.

• AAS degree in Psychology or Sociology is mandatory.

• Must be flexible with rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements.
