Description

Make a meaningful difference in how students communicate, learn, and connect! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Salem, OR to help elementary students strengthen their communication skills, confidence, and classroom participation.
Position Overview
Provide speech and language support to elementary students in grades 3–5, helping them develop effective communication skills and participate successfully in the classroom.
Implement individualized speech-language activities and interventions under the direction and supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and related service providers to reinforce communication goals and support student progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of services, student progress, and relevant observations.
Qualifications
Active Oregon Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License required
Two sets of fingerprints required for applicable birth–5 school clearance requirements
School-based or pediatric speech-language experience preferred
