Description

Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for various school communities across North and Central Texas, to help students reach their full potential through individualized instruction, positive behavioral support, and collaborative teaching.
Locations: Fort Worth, Helotes, and Irving
Position Overview
Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in resource and self-contained classroom settings.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and manage assigned caseloads.
Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to develop effective learning strategies and support student achievement.
Foster a structured, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior, student engagement, independence, and academic growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
Valid Texas Special Education Certification for the appropriate grade level(s) (Elementary K–5 or Secondary 6–12)
Valid Texas Content Area or Generalist Certification corresponding to the assigned grade levels
Experience with K–12 math instruction or supporting students with behavioral needs preferred
