Description
Position Overview
Provide specialized instruction and behavioral/academic support to elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities in a self-contained special education setting.
Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, including development, implementation, and compliance of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with families, school staff, and related service providers while maintaining documentation and monitoring student progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with an Extensive Support Needs (ESN) or Moderate/Severe Disabilities authorization
Previous special education case management experience required
Experience supporting elementary-aged students with moderate to severe disabilities
