Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification or registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience performing MRI scans in an acute care or imaging center setting
• Thorough knowledge of MRI protocols, safety procedures, and best practices
• Ability to accurately position patients and adjust imaging equipment for optimal results
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, physicians, and team members
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Schedule/Hours:

• Scheduled hours and shifts to be provided based on assignment needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures, ensuring quality results and patient safety
• Assess and prepare patients, explaining procedures and answering questions to promote comfort and compliance
• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment, adapting protocols as necessary for patient and procedure
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines to minimize risks associated with MRI scans
• Maintain thorough, accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare staff for coordinated patient care
• Support departmental workflow by assisting with scheduling, supply maintenance, and equipment checks

$3,225 - $3,400/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
