Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy at a newly established 41-bed facility. The therapist will deliver evaluated treatment and therapy based on established protocols, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on patient-centered care and efficient treatment management.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months current acute care occupational therapy experience, possess an active Kansas licensure, and hold BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting and neuro certification or experience are highly desirable.
• Patient Ratios: Carry up to 6-hour treatment load per patient with an 8-hour shift.
• Unit Information: The inpatient unit has 41 beds and a current staffing estimate of 15-20 therapy staff, including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists. Equipment knowledge includes ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and IADL assessments.
• Unit Policies: Clinicians are responsible for tracking treatment times and charges to ensure therapeutic requirements are met, with a 3-hour therapy requirement per inpatient rehab patient.
