Description
Job Summary: Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Wichita, Kansas. This travel Occupational Therapy role supports an inpatient rehabilitation unit providing evaluation and treatment, with a focus on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; every other weekend is required (7:00 AM3:30 PM).
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active Kansas licensure; minimum of 6 months current acute care Occupational Therapy experience; knowledge of Electric Stimulating Therapy for Movements (ESTIM); ability to work with patient lifts; familiarity with ADL equipment, gym equipment, and IADL equipment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute inpatient rehabilitation setting experience; lymphedema certification; neuro certification or neuro-related experience.
- Additional Information: Inpatient rehabilitation includes a 3-hour therapy requirement per patient. The clinician is responsible for tracking therapy time to ensure required patient therapy time is met.
