Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in outpatient services in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with various diagnoses related to speech and swallowing, primarily focused on adult populations, within a clinical outpatient setting.
Job Details:
- Location: 1401 Johnston Willis Drive, Richmond, VA 23235
- Job Type: Outpatient
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Virginia License or Clinical Certification (CCC), experience with adult population/medical, 3 years of experience, flexible to float across acute hospital areas as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience, inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Additional Information:
- Unit features include MBS Suite, Vital Stim, IOPI, EMST150, Bioness BITs
- Equipment and EMR systems are in use onsite
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating swallowing and speech language disorders, performing MBS studies
- Dress code: Black scrub bottoms, royal blue scrub top preferred, other colors accepted
- Will assist with rotating weekends, usually one shift per month
