Job Summary: Speech Language Pathologist Outpatient (SLP OP) Richmond, Virginia
The organization is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Speech Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with multiple diagnoses affecting swallowing and speech-language function. The role includes providing care for an adult population and supporting neuro-related rehabilitation needs when applicable. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day Shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Virginia license and current Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCCs); experience with an adult population/medical; ability to evaluate and treat swallowing and speech-language needs.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience; inpatient rehab experience.
- Additional Information:
- Inpatient rehab unit with patient ratios of 1:8/10.
- Equipment includes MBS suite, Vital Stim, IOPI, EMST150, and Bioness BITs.
- Rotating weekend coverage is typically required (approximately one shift per month).
- Electronic medical record usage is supported.
