Inpatient Occupational Therapist position available in Independence, Missouri. This role involves providing therapeutic services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Licensed occupational therapist, with acute care or rehabilitation experience, proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a valid license; familiarity with rehabilitation gym equipment and procedures such as evaluations, activities of daily living (ADLs), and mobility treatments is beneficial. Dress code includes scrubs in eggplant color. The unit has 285 beds, a level 2 trauma center, and a 16-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Staffing includes 14 staff members per shift, with a patient ratio of 12:1 for acute care and 4-5:1 for rehabilitation.
