Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Outpatient Specialty. The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements care for an assigned patient population in a multi-site outpatient setting. The role supports patients with orthopedic, balance, deconditioning, and pain-related needs while coordinating care and applying established physical therapy practice standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas or eligible compact state required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Inpatient and outpatient experience highly preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides care in a multi-site outpatient setting.
  • Gathers relevant patient information from records and other caregivers and consults with physicians as appropriate.
  • Independently evaluates assigned patient populations and identifies additional testing needs.
  • Develops measurable, realistic, and attainable goals based on evaluation findings.
  • Regularly reassesses patient progress in accordance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifies appropriate equipment and educates patients and families regarding its use.
  • Full-time assignment with potential for permanent placement.
