Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position located in the high-desert region north of Palm Springs within a privately owned outpatient practice. The role involves providing therapy services at two locations, with primary placement to be determined, and the willingness to float between sites. Work schedule consists of dayshift hours, averaging 9 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The position is set to start on 09/21/2026 and conclude on 12/19/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Hi-desert region north of Palm Springs, California, in a rural area known as the Morono Basin, serving Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms, and surrounding communities.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist, 2+ years of outpatient therapy experience preferred; new graduates are considered in urgent situations.
• Additional Information: The outpatient practice averages a caseload of 16 patients daily, with a focus on outpatient therapy. The setting offers access to local outdoor activities such as Joshua Tree National Park, hiking, biking, rock climbing, and nearby mountain resorts. The community is characterized as rural, with a combined population of approximately 75,000 residents, including a Marine training base and small surrounding towns. The practice is the sole therapy provider within a 60-minute commute, with Pediatrics being a significant patient demographic for those with extended availability. Candidates should be comfortable working in a family-owned, community-focused environment.
