Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, Registered (RRT) The position is located at a childrens healthcare facility within the Denver metropolitan area. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients in an intensive care setting, with assignments spanning from December 1, 2026, to March 6, 2027. It requires a commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and flexibility to support various units within the network.

Job Details

  • Position includes working nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, totaling 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, minimum of 3 years Pediatric ICU experience, minimum of 3 years Neonatal ICU experience, minimum of 1-year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma experience, and required certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years each in Pediatric ICU and Neonatal ICU, and 2 years in Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.
  • The candidate must be available to work within the holiday work requirement and will be scheduled for 13 weekend shifts out of 26.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Responsibilities include delivering compassionate and expert respiratory care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting coverage across the networks pediatric intensive care units.
  • Submission instructions: Candidates must be flexible to work the entire contract period, including holiday shifts, and support different units as needed.
