Description

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered, Respiratory Therapist Denver. This position provides respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patients in a specialized clinical setting. The assignment requires extensive experience in pediatric critical care, pediatric emergency care, and nighttime clinical operations.

Job Details

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, totaling 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; at least 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience; at least 2 years of pediatric Intensive Care Unit or Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience; at least 2 years of pediatric emergency care experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience; at least 4 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience; at least 2 years of Pediatric Level I Trauma experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The assignment is scheduled for 14 weeks from 12/01/2026 through 03/06/2027. Weekend coverage includes 13 weekend shifts out of 26. Observed holiday work is required when holidays fall within the contract period, and availability for two of four holidays is required. No Requested Time Off (RTO) is approved during the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted.
