Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized staffing coverage for electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and ablations. The position requires clinical expertise in electrophysiology labs, with a focus on cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia management, and invasive procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid OK or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of submission), minimum 1 year of clinical electrophysiology experience, certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Radiology or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Skills: Accurate monitoring, angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) closures, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac implant closure devices, cardiac mapping, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, carotid angiography and stenting, conduction studies, electrophysiology evaluation, equipment setup, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) placement/removal, Impella insertion, pacemaker insertion and programming, interpretation of dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac catheterization, ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), laser-assisted procedures, left atrial appendage closure, pacemaker and defibrillator management, vascular and angiographic procedures, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sterile technique, temporary pacemaker, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, use of rapid response and code teams, vascular closure systems, ventricular assist device insertion, Watchman procedures
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in electrophysiology
• Orientation Hours: 40 hours totale
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• End Date: 01/04/2027
• Floating: Travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope as needed, with brief orientation provided.
• Additional Notes: Modules are completed onsite during orientation, recorded via transcripts, and are non-billable hours.
