Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations in a high-acuity setting. The technician will work on a 10-hour day shift schedule, supporting a team dedicated to cardiovascular procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with no minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Cardiac Cath lab and knowledge of procedures such as diagnostic and structural heart interventions is preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit includes a 5-bed Cardiac Cath Lab staffed by 25 team members, with a typical patient ratio of 1:1. The team performs diagnostic and interventional heart caths, structural heart procedures, and related interventions. The shift includes every 5th weekend on call from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Monday. The environment requires adherence to surgical green scrubs and unit policies.
