Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) position located in Massachusetts. This role involves providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders. The occupational therapy assistant will support the clinical interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active State Licensure/Registration, minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) experience, experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehab settings, COTA license.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Additional Information: Duties include administering procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices. The role involves assessing patient progress, communicating with supervising Occupational Therapists, documenting care in electronic systems, participating in meetings and trainings, supervising students under an Occupational Therapists guidance, and adhering to professional practice acts and ethics. Candidate must be able to support obtaining necessary durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies per clinical requirements.
