Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (INTRA CL) technician position in a healthcare facility. This role involves following clearly defined procedures to support cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses during interventional radiology procedures. The technician provides technical assistance, monitors patients, and ensures safety protocols are followed, under the supervision of a cardiologist. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in a specialized clinical setting, with a focus on patient assessment and technical accuracy.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, days, with a start time of 07:00 AM, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Credential certification as Registered Cardiovascular Intravascular Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology, California radiology technologist license if ARRT (R), Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS, at least 2 years of clinical experience in interventional radiology or related field
  • Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, Fluoroscopy permit
  • Skills: Accurate patient monitoring, angioplasty, carotid angiography and stenting, catheter/drain exchange, central venous access, chest tube placement, dialysis graft interventions, embolization procedures, endovascular interventions, fluoroscopy, gastrointestinal procedures including gastrostomy and ERCP, liver biopsy, nephrostomy, pacs imaging, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, stent placement, thoracentesis, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS, ultrasound-guided procedures, Ureteral Stent Placement, vascular closure systems, vertebroplasty, IVUS, and room circulation with sterile technique
  • Additional Information: No weekend requirement; rotating nights and weekend calls may be involved; orientation involves approximately 40 hours; all compliance and onboarding requirements must be completed within specified timelines. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, a valid CA State license, and applicable certifications uploaded and current.
