Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in a maternal fetal ultrasound specialty position. This role involves assisting radiologists with advanced invasive diagnostic procedures and performing complex maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations, including 3D/4D imaging, fetal echocardiograms, growth assessments, and Doppler studies. The Ultrasonographer will also provide ultrasound training and ensure standardized procedures are followed within the healthcare facility.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: - Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program is required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. - Must be American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered in OB and OB GYN. - Three (3) years of experience performing complex ob/gyn or vascular scans.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 9 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, recording anatomical, pathological, and physiological data for interpretation, assisting with invasive procedures, analyzing sonography findings, and advising radiologists and healthcare providers of exam results.
